Short Academic Bio:
I started my career in artificial intelligence research in 2015, upon graduating from the University of Chile. I initially served as an Assistant Researcher and Data Scientist at both the Complex Engineering Systems Institute and the Engineering School at the University of Chile. In 2018, I was awarded a scholarship by KAIST to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science working at the Web Engineering Lab, which allowed me to spend two enriching years in South Korea. During this time, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture, meet remarkable people, and advance my knowledge and skills as a researcher and engineer. After returning to my home country, I joined Inria Chile, the French research institute dedicated to digital sciences and technology, as an AI Research Scientist.
Throughout my career, I have participated in numerous projects and studies in various capacities. This diverse experience has enabled me to develop a comprehensive understanding of computer science, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies. My work has encompassed various roles, including research, collaborative research, engineering, and project management, which have all contributed to my growth as a proficient and adaptable researcher. Moving forward, I am committed to advancing the field of AI through continued research, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations, and contributing to the development of cutting-edge technologies that address complex societal challenges.
